Upgrading to Windows 10 and the adapter only detect a 2.4 GHz band, but unable to detect 5 GHz signals.
Jul 31, 2015 I just finished upgrading to Windows 10 and had the same problem, here is a possible solution for anyone else looking. Sims 3 cheats ps3 unlimited money. I fixed it by installing the 'ASUS USB-N53 802.11a/b/g/n Network Adapter' in device manager (Update driver - Browse my computer. Let me pick. Uncheck 'Show compatible hardware', find ASUSTeK Computer Inc.). The thing is, the first step in this thread is to go to device manager, select the ASUS n53 from the network adapters and delete its driver, in order to install another one that's compatible with windows 10. However, the N53 is not recognized at all by my computer; it doesn't even show up in the network adapters.
